How much whey isolate should I consume per day?
The amount depends on individual protein needs, which vary based on weight, activity level, and goals . Generally, one to two servings per day are sufficient for most people.
It is good to know that a person needs to consume between 1.6 g of protein per kilo of body weight for the most sedentary and 2.5 g for athletes.
It should also be consumed on rest days, as the body needs protein to support its vital functions.
When should you consume your whey?
- For breakfast: in recipes ( bowl cake , pancakes , rice cream, etc.)
- Post-workout: Consuming your shake right after your session can help optimize muscle recovery and provide essential nutrients for your muscles to repair themselves.
- As a snack: at any time of the day, between meals to have a constant protein intake and limit muscle catabolism
Is it good to consume whey every day?
There's no harm in consuming whey protein daily. However, you should be careful not to rely on it as the only source of protein in your diet. While it's best to consume as much solid protein as possible, whey protein is a cheaper, more convenient, and faster-to-consume solution in the long run.
Is it possible to include whey in recipes (cakes, etc.)?
Yes, it is entirely possible to incorporate whey into cooking recipes, such as cakes, pancakes, bowl cakes, etc., in order to have even more protein.
However, whey protein may lose some of its nutritional properties when heated or cooked at high temperatures. We therefore recommend using low to moderate temperatures when baking your pastries to avoid altering its quality.
Precautions for use
It is essential to store your whey isolate in a cool, dry place, away from heat, light and sunlight for a maximum of 24 months after opening the sachet.
