Servings: 12 cookies

The ingredients

  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 cup of whey (choose your favorite flavor, personally I prefer vanilla whey !)
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

The preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the oats, protein powder , salt, and baking soda.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the almond butter, honey, water, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Add the dark chocolate chips and stir until well distributed throughout the batter.
  6. With slightly damp hands, form balls of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Then, flatten them slightly to form cookie shapes.
  7. Bake the cookies for about 12 minutes or until golden brown.
