Toppings
It's hard to make a recipe lighter than this one! However, as is often the case, it's the accompaniments that can be detrimental to your diet. For savory crepes without extra calories, add a few drops of orange blossom or vanilla extract to flavor the batter. Spices such as cinnamon and ginger are also options. Finally, opt for seasonal fruits to enhance your crepes without compromising your goal of lightness. And if you're a big foodie, pair your crepes with dark chocolate! You can always eat healthy while still indulging. FYI, dark chocolate has many benefits for our bodies! It's good for the heart, allows for better concentration and reduces stress, but it's also a great natural antidepressant! So, don't hesitate, if orange blossom or ginger don't really tempt you, don't feel guilty about opting for dark chocolate.
